Privacy Policy

StudyOrbit is designed so that your school life stays yours. This policy explains what the StudyOrbit app and website process, why, and the choices available to you.

Who is responsible

StudyOrbit is provided by Adel Ramzy. For privacy questions or requests, email support@nawaeurope.com.

1. Study data stays on your device

Your tasks, courses, timetable, notes, imported documents, scans, flashcards, practice results, grades, goals, and focus history are stored locally on your device. Study-assistant questions and answers are processed on your device and retained only for the current in-app session; the source notes you choose remain in your local library. On compatible devices, the assistant can use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. StudyOrbit does not send the prompt, selected note, or generated answer to our servers. When that framework is unavailable, the app uses a deterministic on-device study engine. Core StudyOrbit features do not require an account. We do not upload this study content to our servers unless you deliberately use an export or sharing feature that you control.

2. Apple system surfaces

If you start a focus session, StudyOrbit can show its objective, course, and remaining time through Apple system surfaces such as a Live Activity, Dynamic Island, Lock Screen, Always-On display, widget, or Control Center. iOS controls which surfaces appear. StudyOrbit marks study text as privacy-sensitive where the system API permits, but anyone who can view your unlocked or notification-enabled device may still see information you choose to place there. You can control Live Activities, widgets, notifications, Siri, and search access in iOS Settings.

3. Optional StudyOrbit news and offers

If you separately choose to receive StudyOrbit news and offers, the app registers a push-notification token with our service. We may process:

  • the Apple Push Notification service device token;
  • app version, build number, iOS platform, device class, and language;
  • your consent status and the time it changed.

We use this limited information only to deliver compatible StudyOrbit announcements, service messages, and optional first-party offers. We do not attach your study content or a named profile to the token. We do not record notification opens for behavioral profiling.

You can turn these messages off at any time in StudyOrbit Settings or in iOS Settings. When you opt out, the app asks our service to unregister the token. Apple may also rotate tokens automatically.

4. In-app announcements

The app may request a current StudyOrbit banner from our public announcement service. The request includes the app version and language so the app receives compatible content. It does not include your study records or advertising profile. Our hosting provider may still receive ordinary network details, such as IP address and user-agent, as described below.

In-app announcements are on by default. You can dismiss one announcement or turn all in-app news and offers off in StudyOrbit Settings; while the master switch is off, the app does not request banners.

5. External announcement links

An announcement may offer a link to a public HTTPS page outside StudyOrbit. The app opens that page in your system browser, where the destination operator's privacy policy and terms apply. StudyOrbit does not append tracking query parameters to campaign links. It does not include a third-party advertising SDK or use these links for cross-app tracking.

6. Website, campaign, and service logs

Like most internet services, our hosting and security systems process limited technical request information. Hostinger access logs can incidentally retain the requested path, including a campaign media path, request time, IP address, browser or app user-agent/device information, and a country inferred from the IP address. A campaign-media request can therefore indicate which campaign asset was requested. These access logs can remain visible to authorized administrators in hPanel for up to seven days. We use them only for content delivery, abuse prevention, security, and troubleshooting—not for targeting or behavioral analytics.

StudyOrbit does not append campaign tracking parameters or create a separate per-user banner-view, click, or notification-open analytics profile. The public website does not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral analytics. The private administration area uses strictly necessary session and security cookies.

7. Support communications

If you choose to email Support, we process your email address, message, and any device, app-version, screenshot, or diagnostic details you decide to include so we can answer your request, troubleshoot the issue, prevent abuse, and protect the service. StudyOrbit does not automatically attach app data or diagnostics to a support email.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, handle follow-up issues, and meet applicable security or legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized. You may ask us to delete it earlier where applicable. Our email provider may retain limited recovery copies under its operational backup policy.

8. What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
  • We do not track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not build behavioral advertising profiles.
  • We do not upload study activity for analytics.

9. Service providers

We use infrastructure providers to host the website, announcement service, and administration tools, an email provider to receive support correspondence, and Apple Push Notification service to deliver notifications you permit. These providers process limited information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

10. Retention and deletion

Study data remains under your control on your device and can be removed using the app’s delete controls or by deleting the app. When our service receives an opt-out or delete request, it deletes the matching notification delivery record. It also deletes a record after Apple reports the token invalid or after 365 days without a refreshed registration, whichever happens first. If your device is offline when you opt out, StudyOrbit keeps an opaque deletion handle locally and retries the request when network service returns.

The StudyOrbit application does not write a separate campaign analytics log. Hostinger access logs described above can remain visible in hPanel for up to seven days. Hostinger operational backups may retain a recovery copy for up to 42 days before expiry and are used only for service recovery. Aggregate push-delivery totals do not contain notification tokens or study data and may be kept for up to 24 months to understand service reliability.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted network connections, restricted administrative access, input validation, and secret storage outside public code. No internet service can promise absolute security.

12. Students and younger users

StudyOrbit is a general educational organization tool. If local law requires a parent or guardian to approve a younger student’s use of apps or optional notifications, that approval should be obtained before enabling them. We do not knowingly ask children to create an account or submit study data to our servers.

13. Your choices and questions

You can use core features without an account, decline promotional notifications, change notification permission, dismiss one in-app announcement or hide all of them, export local data, and delete local records. 14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when StudyOrbit or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised effective date here and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your choices.
