EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 3, 2026

Terms & Legal

These terms apply to the StudyOrbit app, website, and related services. By using StudyOrbit, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What StudyOrbit provides

StudyOrbit is a study-planning and learning-support tool. It can help you organize work, focus, review your own materials, and understand progress. It is not a school, tutor, counselor, medical service, emergency service, or guarantee of grades, admission, or any other academic outcome.

2. Eligibility

You may use StudyOrbit only when permitted by applicable law and the rules of your school or device owner. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you.

3. License and acceptable use

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use StudyOrbit for lawful educational and personal purposes, subject to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. You must not:

  • misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access;
  • upload, import, or share material you do not have the right to use;
  • use StudyOrbit to harm, harass, deceive, or violate another person’s rights;
  • reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You keep ownership of the notes, documents, schedules, and other material you add. You are responsible for keeping appropriate backups, checking imported information, and deciding whether generated study guidance is suitable. Review important deadlines, academic rules, calculations, citations, and answers against authoritative sources.

5. Study assistant limitations

The assistant is intended to work from material you provide and may use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework on compatible devices, with an on-device deterministic fallback elsewhere. It may refuse when the material is insufficient. Automated outputs can still be incomplete or wrong. They are educational aids, not authoritative advice, and must not be used for cheating or to replace required professional judgment.

6. Notifications and announcements

Operational messages and optional StudyOrbit news or offers may be shown only through the controls available in the app and device settings. Promotional push notifications require your separate consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time. Delivery timing is not guaranteed and notifications must not be your only reminder for an important deadline.

7. External campaign destinations

A StudyOrbit announcement may offer a link to a public HTTPS page. The app opens the page in your system browser and does not append campaign tracking query parameters. Review the destination before continuing. When a destination is operated by someone else, its own terms and privacy policy apply, and StudyOrbit does not control its content, availability, or data practices. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Availability and changes

We may improve, add, change, suspend, or discontinue features to keep StudyOrbit safe, useful, and compatible. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or compatibility with every device or external file.

9. Intellectual property

StudyOrbit’s software, design, name, icon, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of StudyOrbit or grant rights beyond the limited license above.

10. Third-party services and Apple

StudyOrbit may rely on Apple services and hosting providers. Their terms and availability also apply. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for StudyOrbit or its support. Nothing here limits rights you may have under Apple’s standard App Store terms or mandatory consumer law.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, StudyOrbit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular academic result, or error-free content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, StudyOrbit and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunities, or academic outcomes arising from use of the service. Mandatory rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using StudyOrbit at any time. We may restrict access to online services if necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or maintain security. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.

14. Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections where you live. We may revise them as StudyOrbit changes. The updated effective date will appear above, and material changes may receive additional notice.

15. Contact

For support or questions about these terms, visit StudyOrbit Support or use the App Support link on the StudyOrbit App Store listing. The developer listed for StudyOrbit in the App Store is Adel Ramzy.
